    GreenBelt at a Glance:

    Many residents from across the county enjoy all that the GreenBelt has to offer. The Carrollton GreenBelt is the largest paved loop trail system in the state of Georgia. This bike and pedestrian path has access points at many different trailheads and is convenient from all sides of town. The trail goes through the University of West Georgia, Carrollton City Schools, Tanner Medical, Southwire, Lake Carroll, and more. Residents use the Belt recreationally, or even as an alternate form of travel.

    Why do you love living on the Carrollton GreenBelt?

    We love biking the GreenBelt! If you don’t have your own bike, you can rent one from one of the many kiosks along the path. We love knowing that we can bike with our kids to school safely. 

    Describe your perfect day?

    We love exercising, so we start our day walking to Lake Carroll. Then, we might bike the entire path, and stop to play a game of disc golf at Hobb’s Farm.

    Everyone is so friendly! Having the GreenBelt definitely fosters a sense of community.
